Corruption
The problems of BD should be probably started with the King itself, "Corruption." A plague that almost affected every individual of service in this country.
It really is a big shame for this country that it became the Champion for 3 times of Corruption in the World ranking. Corruption is not destroying us from inside but it also is tarnishing our image in the outside world. We, specially, the students should be aware of this problem and have zero tolerance for people who do and ensure in our professional career the complete eradication of it.

Illiteracy
"Illiteracy", a fearsome word for any society. Do you know that Bangladesh is still having an illiteracy rate of more than 45%? Harsh but true that this nation has people who cannot even sign. As a result of more illiterate people in this society, we still lack proficiency and productivity. We lack from narrow visions.
We believe that this curse can only be removed by efforts from all corners together. Nationally, Privately and Individually.
Below is a file having a full survey report on Illiteracy for the year 2010.

Child Labour
Child Labour, an unwanted but inevitable effect of Illiteracy. In our beloved nation a huge section of children are engaged in work at a very early age. Often they are involved in works like Workshops or Industries, which are not only hazardous but also pose risks toward their lives. These occur mainly for the unwell situation of the poor families. Since this country is also affected by poverty, maximum children, to contribute in their families get attached to work for earning.
With lesser opportunities, slowly, while growing up, they end up becoming low paid labours and eventually the chain continues.
A Child Labour involvement in industries related files and an introduction to it is given below.

Dowry System
Less than 10% of the population of Bangladesh live in the cities. The greater portion love to stay with nature and in peace in the villages. The marriage system in the village is a bit different than that of the city. But what is shocking is the dowry system that is still going on the in the 21st century.
In the villages, this practice is still on. Mainly the less well off families are the ones to get deprived. Still in the name of education and appearance, this oppression is suppressed over by few mean people.
Women, being the prime victim, though are getting aware, but till now in many places situations are like the old ages.
2 reports on Women of BD and Dowry are enclosed.
